Q. Can I send emails from my own domain?

Before sending emails from your own domain, you need to set up an SPF record on the Domain DNS Settings to authorise our mail delivery tools to send emails on your behalf without ending up in spam folders or denied.

To do that you need to:

  • Go to your DNS provider

  • Add/edit the TXT record of your main domain. IE: beatifuleshop.com

  • The TXT record should include the following: include:_spf.kooomo.com

If you already have a TXT record with the SPF format, you add it at the end. Just before the all. IE:

v=spf1 include:otherspf.com include:someotherspf.com include:_spf.kooomo.com ~all

And if you didn’t have any SPF record configured before just add a new TXT record like:

v=spf1 include:_spf.kooomo.com ~all

Check if the record is then correct using the below URL (edit the domain name to your specific store). https://mxtoolbox.com/spf.aspx
